Greetings from the Head of School
Welcome to Bullis!
I am pleased to welcome you to the Bullis website! Whether you are new to Bullis or already part of our school community, this is a great place to learn more about Bullis School. Explore its pages, find answers to questions, get acquainted virtually.
While this website will give you a sense of our vibrant program, I do urge you to visit our stunning campus to witness firsthand the professionalism, passion, and care demonstrated by our faculty and staff. Truly, it is only through walking the halls, peeking into classrooms, speaking to students and teachers, or even catching a game, play, or concert that you can gain more insight into how beautifully Bullis functions as a truly caring community.
Since 1930, Bullis has provided a distinctive education, first for young men entering the military academies, then as a boarding and day school for boys in Upper and Middle School grades--and since 1983, as a day school for the sons and daughters of the DC metropolitan area.
More recently, Bullis has accepted students from the wider world too, giving the school an even more diverse and international flavor. We provide a balanced program that helps our young men and women reach their potential, academic and otherwise. We are proud that through small class sizes, differentiated instruction, and an engaged and dedicated faculty, every student at Bullis is well known on campus and treated as an individual; Bullis is a student-centered school that genuinely cares.
Call, email, visit. We are looking forward to sharing our passion for Bullis with you.
